At Ynot Aspire, we work hard to help young people create brighter futures. As well as providing life changing support to empower young people to get the jobs, training and education they deserve, one of our core aims is to help to build strong, resilient young people who know that it’s OK to talk about their mental health, how to look after their own mental health and where to get further support if they need it. That’s how the Your Space project was born.
Our charity provides a range of projects for helping young people get the support they need if they are suffering with their mental health and wellbeing. We run some of these services in schools, like a drop-in ssession to talk to one of our staff or volunteers, access to one-to-one mentoring support and training up mental health champions to offr peer support.
Sometimes all we need is to be able to talk over how we’re feeling tohelp us make sense of it and find out what other help might be out there. We have a team of staff and volunteer mentors who can offer one-to-one support. Our mentors offer a safe space in complete confidence, offering a listening ear and support into other services if necessary. Our staff and volunteers have a range of life experience and skills that can help young people. They have a wealth of life experience, alongside their training, that can help young people to feel heard and understood
If you are or know a young person who benefit from talking to someone in confidence, we’re here for you. Give us a call on 01254 352 592, email us at info@ynotaspire.org.uk or complete the registration form on the link below.
