All volunteers receive full training in all areas of safeguarding from our specialist team. Before they join each project they also undergo intensive assessment. Volunteering at Ynot Aspire, not only gives our young people the chance to work with individuals who are passionate about providing support, but offers prime opportunities for volunteers. Our volunteers can gain qualifications during the time they spend with us in youth work, health and safety, substance misuse and peer mentoring, to name just a few.
Our volunteering roles range from offering one-one support, helping to deliver our prevention workshops in schools, general office work, event planning and fundraising.
We couldn’t do the work we do without the support of our staff, volunteers, agencies, fellow charities and wider community. Our volunteers bring with them not just passion, but plenty of experience from a range of backgrounds.
A fact that means they can share their very own unique mix of skills, strengths and qualities to the young people they support.
Volunteering is not only beneficial to the young people who access our services and to the wider community, it is also beneficial to you.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer you can apply by requesting an application form from info@ynotaspire.org.uk or use the link below – Thanks
