In April this year, the local Soroptimists paid a special visit to Ynot Aspire, where they worked with a brilliant group of girls from The Hollins School on a very creative project!

Together, they designed and made fabulous beachwear — including a beach cover-up, hat, sandals, and beach bag — all crafted from recycled materials. The project, known as ‘Trashion’, encourages creativity, teamwork, and sustainability. ![]()

The Soroptimists will be entering these fantastic creations into the prestigious Rose Bowl regional competition — showcasing the incredible work done in partnership with local young people.

To top it off, the Soroptimists also generously donated £500 to support the ongoing work of Ynot Aspire.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for inspiring young people and helping to make a difference in our community!
